Wow I haven't been a very good blogger! The last few months have gone by so quickly!! I can't believe my little baby is now 9 months old & almost walking on his own! I really need to download all the photo's from my camera..... Here is Crew at 7 months and 8 months old in his BYU cougar Halloween costume. Chanel was Cinderella this year. She absolutely loves being a big sister.

We started a little vocal group this year for ages 3-4. Chanel just loves to perform!! Her little group is called Broadway Babies! She has already performed 4 times this month. Her solo is I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus and Up on the housetop. :) Aren't they the cutest little kids!! I have to say it is so fun watching Chanel perform! I have been teaching groups like this for 10 years and assisted for 3 years! Which is a very long time!
I get a little teary eyed every time she gets up to sing!

P.S. Don't judge my filming skills...I was also running the sound system ha ha!

Crew is 5 months old! Time is just flying!!! He is all over the place now!! I can't believe my little bug is so grown up!! He is such a cuddle bug!! I absolutely love it! He is now crawling super fast!! He is all over the place!!

Let's see where do I start? Crew turned 3 months, 4 months and is almost 5 months now. Chanel danced in her 2nd dance recital and she turned 3! They both went to Disney Land, Knott's Berry farm, Universal Studios, Parades, Stadium of fire, Chanel started swim lessons.... The list goes on and on!

Crew started to roll over at 2 months and hasn't slowed down since!! He is almost crawling!! Here are a few more things Crew can do now that he is 4 Months: ( he is almost 5 months)

-Laughs all the time, especially when dad tickles him
-Loves to take baths
-He loves his big sister Chanel :)
-he doesn't like his carseat
-Loves toys and anything he can get his hands on
- Loves to hear mommy's voice over the phone
- He will probably start crawling by the end of the week ;) watch out!!

My little boy is growing! Here are his 2 month stats:
Weight 11 lbs 10oz -50%
Height 21.5 inches-10%

Crew really is a sweet little baby! He smiles all the time and loves to be held and snuggled. I love my little boy! I wish he would not grow so fast!

Here is what Chanel has been up to when I am busy with Crew..... I don't know how she managed not to spill any on the carpet?! Cran-grape juice would not be fun to clean up!

My baby is 1 month old!!! Time has gone by so quickly! I just adore my little Crew! He is such a sweet little baby. :) One of my friends gave me these cute little cards to mark each month and to see how much he has grown. You can check out her blog here --she always has lots of cute ideas.

James "Crew" Brinkerhoff arrived at 7:09 am on February, 17 and weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long.
We are doing great! I am a little tired--so I will post more later. Enjoy these pictures.... notice that my new little bug is blond!!! Where did that come from :)

I only have 5 days left and I can't believe it! This pregnancy has flown by so quickly. I think Chanel had something to do with that. She keeps me busy. I feel just about ready ;)
We just finished Chanel's new Princess Room---which is what she calls it. I will post pictures tomorrow. She is sleeping in her big girl bed for the first time tonight. Guess what? She didn't even get out of bed once!! She loves to sleep and loves her new bed!! I am so lucky. So hopefully the rest of the night will go well! I hope everyone is doing well! Sorry for the lack of post lately... I figure I will make it up when this new little boy get's here!

This pregnancy has gone by so fast!! I can't believe I get to meet my new little guy next month. Here is a belly pic( I usually hate taking pictures--while I'm pregnant, but Chanel was so cute I couldn't resist) I am 31 weeks here.. I am now 34 weeks and a few days :)

Chanel & I were lucky enough to go on a 9 day cruise over Thanksgiving!! Sadly Tyson couldn't get work off :(
Here are some highlights from our trip! This was my first cruise and I loved it!! I ate way to much food & had too much fun!! We set sail on the Royal Caribbean international cruise ship. We stopped at the following places: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Manzanillo, Ixtapta and Puerta Vallarta. Chanel loved every minute of it and still ask me everyday if she can go back to Mexico on the cruise ship. :)

Chanel is one lucky girl!! She got to swim with the dolphins in Mexico!!

Look at how many kids can fit in the back of this van!! Chanel had so much fun with all her cousins!! Do you think we have enough girls?? Here are the ages of the little girls:
Chanel -2,Kennedy 3, Ashlynn 3,Crystal 3, Rylee 4, Kaitlyn 6. They had so much fun together!! I think we may have scared everyone else away with our big group!! (we also had a 1 year old boy not pictured)

I loved it! I can't believe Michael Jackson, at 50 years old, still has the moves and the voice! His dance moves were awesome and his vocals were still perfect! I am sad he's gone. My favorite songs were Thriller, They Don't care about us and smooth criminal. :) Everyone should go see it!

Chanel is 2 years old now :) She is such a sweet heart too!! I can't believe she is growing up so fast! She is such a ham too! She loves to sing and dance and talk to anyone who will listen. Her favorite things: Disney princess's(she can name everyone! LOL) Mickey Mouse club house, she loves the Zoo and always talks about the animals, going on golf cart rides with Grandma & Papa, She loves cooking in her kitchen and has set up cooking station all over my house.

Here is Paradise!! Tyson's Grandma Susy has this very cute historic house. It has been restored because it's around 100 Years old!! It has a bed and breakfast feel to it and the rooms are decorated with an antique feel :) I forgot to take picture's of the rooms--maybe next time :) We always get to go to paradise over conference weekend and I am always excited to go! Chanel was especially excited because she understood this time. She had so much fun hanging out with her cousins and was sad to leave Paradise.

Yes, we did have some fun this summer!!! I know I am such a slacker!! Hopefully, I still have a few friends that read my blog! Chanel and I got to go with my family to California for Nuvo Nationals. Center Stage did awesome! Alexandria, Cheyenne & Jacob all competed.

Grandma let her pick out a princess dress & then we took her to have dinner at Ariel's Grotto. Which is a Princess celebration hosted by Chanel's favorite Ariel! She received the royal treatment!

She was so happy to meet Ariel!

Chanel thought the dessert platter was just for her. She wouldn't let anyone eat Ariel.

She was in absolute heaven with Belle,Cinderella,Snow White & Sleeping Beauty-but she never forgot about Ariel and would ask each princess where she went.

Chanel had a blast at Ariel's Grotto! I probably had more fun watching her.
She was all smiles!!

And slept happily ever after :) in her Princess Belle dress. ( I couldn't get her to take it off)

Sound asleep from 2 full days at Disneyland! The happiest place on earth :)

Chanel loves to sing just about everything! This video was recorded back in May at the Center Stage Vocal Recital. She jumped up onstage after the performance was over and grabbed the microphone! Her latest songs are Twinkle Twinkle, Itsy Bitsy Spider, bumble bee and ask her about the little Mermaid and you will get a little surprise. :)

P.S. She was 23 months.

Chanel got to visit with Ashley Tisdale and let me tell you--she loves her!! She got to sit on her lap while she signed autographs and when it was time go she was SOOO sad! In the car on the ride home she said" Baby sad, Ashley go home" and "I miss Ashley" Then she made her best pouty face with her lip pushed out! Then about a 30 minutes later in the store she says to Grandma " Ashley go home". Wow she loves Ashley!!! Too cute! We love you Ashley too!

Time really flies when your having fun!! My sweet little baby turned two today! Words can't describe how much I love her! I love my little Chanel-Bell! We had a family party and I will be posting pictures soon.... stay tuned :)

Maybe I was a detective in another life

A few days ago I lost my keys at Center Stage (and if you know me-I always seem to misplace them) I seriously looked everywhere for them. I retraced my steps and realized that I had set them on the counter in Dance Gear. I had only been in the store for a few minutes when a customer came in and I helped her with some questions on making a costume. She stayed about a half hour and left. I had never met her before and she didn't purchase anything so---I didn't even catch her name.
Okay back to the missing keys....
An hour had passed when I connected the dots!! Maybe the customer picked up my keys by accident? I was like great, just what I need!! Some stranger has my car keys! I will never see them again!!

I then remembered that I had given her the names of a few costume designers! I quickly called them to see if anyone had called in the last hour to have an ice skating costume made. The first person I called was a dead end but, then the next person I talked to said that a lady had called. I called the number and asked the girl, if she had accidentally picked up some car keys. She was surprised and said "how did you get my phone number? And YES I do have some keys that don't belong to me!" She told me that she had noticed when she went out to her car because she wasn't driving a Jetta, but she did have a Jetta and she thought that she had just grabbed the wrong set of keys!! Well, luckily I got my keys back!!! But I think I will think twice about setting them anywhere!! I think I may have a new hidden talent???

I also need to invest in a really big key chain... I like this one. Anyone have any good ideas?

Chanel went to her very first dance class this month! She loved it so much! No surprise there:) I think her favorite part is "ring around the rosie"! She loves to play it over and over again. She can sing the end of the song all by herself "All fall down!" She will then ask you for your "hands" so she can play again. I catch her singing it all the time and falling down! She also like to sing the clean up song from the nursery & Patty-Cake.

Tomorrow, December 30 Alexandria, Jacob, & Cheyenne get to perform in the Dancing with the Stars Tour Stop in Salt Lake City. They get to be in the Show! Alex & Cheyenne are performing in Production Number called "I'm Alive" & Jacob will be doing a ballroom Dance with his Team.

V Factory Concert
On New Years Eve Jared's Band V Factory Is performing at the Mckay Events Center at UVU. The show is called Newphoria. Also Performing there is David Archuleta & Ashley Tisdale will host the concert.

Just in case you were worried... I finally decorated my tree on Sunday! Chanel absolutely loves it! She is really gentle with the tree & just stares at it & says " Pretty"! Luckily we don't need a gate to guard the tree from her. :)

I just got back from seeing..Twilight! i absolutely loved it! I wasn't sure if i was going to like Edward....But he did a great job! It went by way too fast!! I was a little sad when it was over. I mean come on, I (want) need more Edward!! Natalie and I couldn't stop smiling every time he would stare at Bella!! We absolutely loved it when he would smile.
FYI: I don't think the movie will be as good, if you haven't read the books but if you have, it's awesome! ( I don't mean this in a negative way, YOU just really need to read the book before you see it!!

Edward and Bella really did a great job! Alice is probably my favorite "Cullen". I can't wait to see it again! This time I am going to take Tyson. :) Get ready honey!

P.S. I forgot to tell you that this guy proposed to his girlfriend in our movie theatre!! It was so cute,especially because our room was full of girls! I think we counted 3 guys in our entire theatre! It was really sweet!

** 1 more thing---who saw Stephanie Meyer's little cameo in the diner!!!!

We got to see the new James Bond movie on Saturday with our good friend Jacob! I really liked it except there were a few things missing. The car chase makes you feel a little sick at the beginning, but it was still good. The action is really good and Jacob thinks Daniel Craig is the best bond ever! I have to say that I missed the gadgets and my favorite line "Bond, James Bond" but other than that I liked the movie.

We headed to Grandma & Grandpa's Trunk or Treat. It was so much fun & Chanel didn't want to stop! Chanel became a little pro this Halloween! She had it down! She carried her Hello Kitty trick or treat basket & would carefully pick a treat. She did all this while holding her wand in one hand & trick or treat basket in the other! :) She usually ended up picking 2 or 3 treats each time. My little Ladybug!

Josh just returned home from his mission last Thursday from Chile Vina Del Mar! We are so happy to have him home! He will be speaking in church this Sunday ( Sept. 21) at 9:00 am. Okay, so I am finally posting some pictures from our trip to Johnson Mill Bed & Breakfest!
To make a long story short, I forgot our camera & we had to buy a cheap camera. So the pictures didn't turn out too great, but at least I finally developed them and put them on my blog!

Tyson & I stayed in the honeymoon suite! It was so pretty & romantic!

These photos are all from Alexandria's blog, while we were out of town she got to hang out with her Grandma Robin & Grandma Alyce. She had lots of fun swimming with her Aunt Alex. She loved the water slide and would laugh every time she went down the slide! I love that little face. Thanks for being such great babysitters! She also loved going for rides on her Grandma & Grandpa Brinkerhoff's golf cart. She never wants to get off! It's so funny.

I was so excited to teach Cambryn! Her mom Cyndi is my blogging buddy! She came to visit her family and I was able to teach her a jazz private at Center Stage. Cambryn also attended the Center Stage Dance Camp and received a 1/2 scholarship for next year! She is such a cute girl!
Chanel & I went with my family to Las Vegas. It was Chanel's 1st time and she loved the lights!

I know Chanel isn't looking but I had to show you the pool at the Golden Nugget hotel! It had a fish tank in the middle of the pool filled with sharks! It was very cool and Chanel loved it. The sharks would swim right up to the glass. It also had a water slide that went through the middle of the tank. So much fun!

We also got to see Mama Mia at the Mandalay Bay Hotel! It was such a good musical & we had great seats---Thanks to Pam! I do have to say that the lead Sophie was not what I had pictured! She looked older the Donna(Mom) and was very out of shape. It wouldn't have been a big deal except all her costumes showed her belly!! My favorites in the show: Donna, Sam( he was so dreamy and had the most beautiful voice) and Tanya! Whenever Tanya was on stage you couldn't help but laugh at her!! She reminded me of I love Lucy!

Chanel's 1st trip to Lagoon! She had so much fun on the train & carousel ride!

Our good friend Jacob made some yummy homemade pizza. The crust was from scratch!! So good! Look at his shirt... He is also single! If you want to set him up on a date... Let me know! :)

I forgot how small newborn babies are! Chanel is so big now! My how the time goes by so quickly! I miss my little baby, but I love each stage! Chanel keeps getting cuter & more fun each day!

The babies are finally here! FYI: Tyson had two cousins pregnant with boys & they were both born a few hours a part. This wasn't a planned event, it just worked out that way! :)

We went to visit them today at the Hospital, they were two doors down from each other! Mandy & Whitney will be great Moms! They are both first time moms & it was so fun to see them with their new little peanuts! I have to say the dads were very proud of their little boys too.

Chanel had her first trip to the Gateway Mall on Saturday. My vocal companies performed by the water fountains! It was very hot, but shopping seemed to cool us down! We ate at Tucanos after the show and Chanel tried steak, pork & many more for the very first time. She loved them all. I shared some cheesy balls with her & of course she had to have more. I love the cheesy balls. I always make Tyson get me more.

We let Chanel run through the water, but she was a little scared. She didn't want to get too close! This picture is so precious.

We did lots of SHOPPING, Shopping & some more shopping! I found the best deals! I have been wanting some Juicy sweats forever but could not bring myself to pay full price! I found some for 50% off at this cute store called LOLABELLA"S! I will have to go back!:)

I thought Chanel would love swimming because she gets so excited when it's bath time! She tries to climb in before I can get her clothes off! She splashes, plays with toys & likes to stay in the water until her toes turn into prunes. I thought it would be fun to take her swimming in my families pool. I took a class yesterday from Erine Lively. It was awesome! He is such a great acting coach. If you want to join in on the class, Here is the info:

Wednesday & Thursday 4-5:30 pm for ages 5-10 yrs old

Thursday 6:30-9:30 pm for Ages 15-Adult

I really recomend this class for anyone that wants to get into acting. He will also be doing another session on June 3 & June 5. It will cover different material.

Just an FYI his daughter is Blake Lively from "Gossip Girls".( Check out the picture above) He is constantly working in the business and works with a lot the top Hollywood Stars!

Chelsea took dad's Maserati for a spin last week . She came home after a night stay in the hospital, with a cracked sternum and a fractured ankle. We all feel blessed that she came home, considering she rolled the car 4 times with out wearing a seat belt!! We will miss the blue Maserati , we had many fun dates & cruises in this car!
FYI: Chelsea is my husbands youngest sister, she just turned 18 years old this month
